Secure the Skies of Guadalajara: Anti-Drone Solution for Premier Event

In October 2025, our handheld anti-drone systems were deployed to ensure safety for the Romería de la Virgen de Zapopan, which is one of the largest and most significant annual religious pilgrimages held in Guadalajara, Mexico’s second largest city. Drawing massive crowds, including overnight participants and a multi-kilometer procession, the event demanded robust and reliable security measures to prevent access of suspicious drones over its 17.5-hour duration.

To support the Guadalajara City Center, the following systems were deployed to monitor and protect the key airspace:

Both anti-drone systems are handheld versions that effectively detected and jammed unauthorized drones on site and significantly enhanced the overall security of the event.

The ND-BD003 is a pioneering compact handheld anti-drone jammer that innovatively integrates both detection and jamming functions in a single unit. Its lightweight and mobility make it stand out from other separate detectors and jammers on the market.

The ND-BD005, on the other hand, serves as an advanced and more comprehensive version. It not only provides detection and jamming functions but also includes an optional GPS spoofing module. The system can effectively counter new 4G and 5G drone models over long distances and supports multi-device AD hoc networking and multi-level interconnection with the back-end command and control platform of the anti-drone system. Unlike the ND-BD003, which uses a mobile phone to display maps and detected drone information, the ND-BD005 integrates this function directly into its touch screen. Operators can conveniently view data and adjust system settings such as parameters, blacklists and whitelists, historical records, and software versions directly through the interface.

Throughout the entire operation, both anti-drone devices demonstrated stable and reliable performance, successfully detecting and countering drones on site. This deployment once again highlights the flexibility and dependability of our handheld anti-drone solutions in real-world protection tasks.
